In Her Wake: A Child Psychiatrist Explores the Mystery of Her Mother's Suicide by Nancy Rappaport
Note: I read an advance reader copy of the book, so some material may be different in the published version
About: Child psychiatrist Rappaport uses interviews, journals, writings and her own experiences to analyze her mother's suicide.
Pros: Decent read. Encompassing analysis of her mother's suicide. A few in-text cites. Tales from her psychiatric practice are a great addition.
Cons: Somewhat understandably, all the analysis seems a bit much, but I guess she is a psychiatrist after all. Big family means who's who can can get confusing. Photos would be nice.
