Book Review: Addicted Like Me: A Mother-Daughter Story of Substance Abuse and Recovery by Karen Franklin and Lauren King
Book: Addicted Like Me: A Mother-Daughter Story of Substance Abuse and Recovery by Karen Franklin and Lauren King
About: A mother and daughter tell their stories of drug and alcohol addiction.
Pros: First two-thirds of the book, I was really intested to see what happened next.
Cons: My interest petered out towards the end. I thought the "how to know if your kids are doing drugs" section at the end seemed to assume all parents are unobservant. It also has handy tips kids could use to hide their drug use.
